Restaurant table placemats are a great way to display your menus, special drinks offers, promotions or use them to keep the kids happy with a blank colouring design printed on them. Used by restaurants, hotels, pubs, cafes, bars etc. Placemats can also be supplied laminated or encapsulated with a wipe clean surface in gloss or matt, this makes the menus more durable and more hygienic than non-laminated menus. Printed on 100gms pulp bond paper which has a very good liquid absorption or the laminated versions are printed on 250gms card and then over laminated.

Placemats are printed 1-sided in vibrant full colour which provides a full sheet for advertising directly to your customers. Non laminated placemats are printed on a 100gms pulp bond paper and are ideal for any restaurant or eatery business. This 100gms paper is absorbent and designed to be a one-off use which gives your customer a new placemat each time your tables are refreshed enabling faster table turnaround.
Laminated placemats are printed on more sturdy 250gms card and over laminated for a clean hygienic surface that is easy to wipe, finished in either gloss or matt. These are re-usable and can be wiped clean for each time you refresh you tables for the next customer.

Material
Non laminated Placemats are printed on 100gms white pulp bond.
Laminated menus are printed on 250gms white artboard and laminated in 75micron gloss or matt both sides. We have tested this card and found it to be a perfect thickness for this use.
All card is "A" grade stock and is fully FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified which means when you order from us you can be certain you are not harming the earth's resources.
Lamination
Laminated placemats use a heat seal .75micron plastic laminate. This can be either gloss or matt finish and is applied to both sides of the menus. Laminating these placemats will seal the surface with a plastic film and make them more durable and easier to wipe clean in areas where hygene is important.
Encapsulated Lamination
This is a process where the edges are over laminated and sealed. The placemats have a clear sealed 5mm extra laminate edges which makes the menus fully waterproof and more durable. We use a 1.25microm laminate for this process producing a more sturdy placemat.

Plain Label
All our printing can be supplied in plain label packaging. There will be no reference to eColourPrint on the parcels or delivery notes. Ideal for designers, printers and other trade suppliers, we can send your order directly to your customer with full online tracking.
VAT
Restaurant menus are plus VAT at UK standard rate.
Artwork
We accept ‘Print Ready’ PDF or JPG files converted to CMYK. You can convert/export to these file formats in most software programmes. If your artwork bleeds off the edges allow at least 3mm extra to the size of the design for us to cut back to. Design and Artwork Service
If required, our graphic designers can design your placemat artwork for you. Your laminated placemats are professionally designed by our in-house graphics team who transform your ideas in to a high impact visual image that makes your laminated restaurant menus stand out from the competition. We charge extra for this service because we do not just put "text on paper" which others offer in their "Free design service" - there is a difference!
